Although the look of the building and name may be different than the previous location, the experienced teaching staff and Ajakie family owned operators are the same and always on site to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all the children in their care. The spacious design of the classrooms and age-appropriate learning materials provide the perfect backdrop for children to develop socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically.
Age specific programs are offered for children from six weeks to five years of age. At New River Child Care teachers recognize that every child learns differently and progresses at their own pace. We provide opportunities for children to investigate and use materials while they participate in self-directed activities that build problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
The curriculum is based on extensive research and the work of child development experts who promote a lifetime love of learning. Our program includes VPK, and offers families full and part-time programs, daily lunch and snacks, and an HD audio/video security monitoring system.
VPK SCORE READINESS We are excited to announce that our 2012-2023 Prekindergarten VPK class scored a 100% on the Kindergarten Readiness Test. Congratulations to our graduates and our preschool teachers!

Located just north of Broward Boulevard on NW 7th Avenue, New River, formerly Tutor Time Fort Lauderdale established in 1994, is a family-owned business that was once at the base of the office tower at 100 SE 3rd Avenue.
